Buying and selling land, getting permissions, raising funds, buying materials, land developments and flooding… the difficulties of building new homes for the Bethel children which satisfy the changed Indian regulations have been challenging, and have meant this project has already taken nearly five years!

At last we have photos of the second of three buildings to be erected on the New Bethel site, the first being the communal building painted by the Poynton India Crew in 2014! This building will be home to the Bethel girls, and construction is soon to start on the second house.

 

 

 

 

 

The preparation of the plot is already underway, and we look forward to another update from Annie in the near future!
