A wonderful afternoon on the Golf Course

For the fifth year in a row, Creamline Dairies have generously sponsored a Golf Day in aid of India Direct. The weather this year was particularly glorious, with unbroken sunshine bringing out the best of the Tytherington Club Course.

The day was hugely successful, not just from a golfing point of view, but also in the wonderful sum of money raised for our projects: over £4500, including almost £800 fro the raffle alone. This is enough to fund the care of all the children at both Bethel and Joy Homes for a whole month! Obviously this is a signifiant event for us, so we would like to say a really big THANK YOU to Tony Swallow and Phil Rice, for the time and enthusiasm they have put into organising the day.
We would also like to thank the Tytherington Club for their hospitality, everyone who donated a raffle prize, Ruth, Ellie, Hannah and Hannah, who sold raffle tickets, and, of course, to everyone who played.
