Spring has sprung, and people have shaken off their winter blues, time for some fundraising fun!

Jenny got busy organising a curry night at the wonderful Aroma Spice in Macclesfield. The management and staff of Aroma Spice have given us such a lot of support over the years, they always look after us and the food is superb modern Indian cuisine… Delicious!

With healthy ticket sales (we sold out, yet again!) and a raffle the evening made £429, which was great… but the even better news was that National Grid match-funded the event, so India Direct has £858 to help support our projects in India! Fantastic news, and many thanks to everyone who attended and to National Grid!

Not content with that, Jenny and Karen spent a bright but blustery April morning at Chelford car boot sale, selling a variety of items and giving away our shiny new leaflets!

Helen and Mark designed the leaflets, and managed to get them printed at no cost to India Direct, so every penny is still directly changing lives in India. If you would like some leaflets to hand out, or if you would like to fundraise for India Direct – please email us!

Karen and Jenny were rewarded for their early start at the car boot sale by making £120 for India Direct. Way to go girls!!
