Rock Solid, THE youth group of Holy Trinity Church, Hurdsfield in Macclesfield, held a sponsored ‘Lock In and Stay Awake’ event in the church, when they pledged to stay awake for 24 hours! One or two managed it..!
Grace and Paul Nadin-Salter, of India Direct were very moved by their efforts to raise money for us. At a presentation, several were even giving their pocket money to help the widow we were telling them about.
They raised £305.74 for us, which will help to buy a house for Venilla. (See Widows page for her story). Dan and Adam, two of the leaders, presented a presentation ‘cheque’ to Paul and Grace on 17th December at Rock Solid’s Christmas bash.
